Nikola Corporation is doing its part to ensure that hydrogen refueling stations are available for their hydrogen fuel cell electric trucks. The company has opened a station in Santa Fe Springs, California, located at Tom’s Truck Center.

Five years ago, Volvo started delivering its all-electric semi-trucks. Last year’s deliveries grew 256% from 2022 with 1,977 Class 8 trucks. Their sales growth continues as well in the European market.


The state of New York has announced an additional $200 million of Environmental Bond Act Funding for zero-emission school buses. School districts and bus operators can access funds to support the purchase of electric buses, charging infrastructure, or fleet electrification planning. The funds are administered through the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA).  

EVgo, a leader in public fast-charging networks for electric vehicles (EVs), has announced network enhancements through its EVgo ReNew program. Customers can look forward to everything from larger stations and equipment upgrades to an 80% increase in sites serving six or more vehicles.


Electrify America is launching a new trial program designed to reduce the number of “charger hogs” (i.e., people who stay plugged in for extended periods of time) through a trial program at 10 of its busiest locations in California.  

CleanTechnica looks at the leadership of the United States in attracting EV investments. With $312 billion in EV and battery manufacturing, the United States is the top nation for investments, surpassing China and other global markets. The states receiving the most investment include Nevada, Tennessee, Georgia, North Carolina, and Michigan.  


The California Air Resources Board (CARB) and CALSTART are hosting a free Zero-Emissions Showcase and Ride & Drive today from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. PT at the Oakland Arena in Oakland, California. In addition to demonstrations, representatives from CARB, CALSTART, EnergIIZE, and the California Energy Commission will be available to answer questions about how the various incentive programs work.
