Contact Name: Staged Right EventsCALSTART Members are invited to join CALSTART and Workhorse on Wednesday, October 18 for a day of hands-on learning focused on EV market transition actions that can be taken today. Workhorse is an industry leader in providing commercial electric vehicles, software, and infrastructure for fleets. They are opening their doors at their commercial EV manufacturing facility in Union City, Indiana, to give CALSTART members an up-close, in-person look at their newly remodeled manufacturing facility - participants will also get to drive the new Workhorse electric delivery van. Other industry experts will be part of discussions about how to build a workforce that will need to play a role in the design and development of EVs, the manufacturing of batteries, and the installation and maintenance of charging infrastructure.
The Charge into The Future Forum will be held on Wednesday, October 18. Workhorse is hosting a reception both the evening before for those who arrive early and another reception at the close of the Forum. Out-of-town attendees are encouraged to fly into and stay in Dayton, Ohio. Complete details will be provided to those who RSVP.
Tip: If you are coming on October 18, make sure to factor in that the closing reception will be at the 100+ year-old Engineers Club of Dayton.
