Innovative Mobility

CALSTART’s Innovative Mobility Initiative focuses on leveraging emerging transportation technologies and operating models to make the lightest-footprint modes competitive with traditional means of moving goods and people. The initiative takes a whole-system approach to design transportation networks that reduce the number of miles needed to access resources and opportunities, and shift trips to efficient, zero-emission modes.

The Innovative Mobility team focuses on personal mobility, last-mile delivery, and school mobility projects and hosts a monthly Innovative Mobility Working Group to convene private- and public-sector partners active in deploying innovative mobility strategies.
