The Sustainable Fleets Program is open to all, from fleets looking to make a first-time sustainability commitment to those with zero-emission vehicles (ZEVs) already on the road. All fleets in the program will benefit from customized benchmarking, tools, support, and resources.

A fleet participating in the program will also have the opportunity to become a CALSTART member, connecting fleets to a broad, deep, and valuable network of clean transportation businesses, innovators, researchers, and officials. CALSTART members benefit from networking opportunities, access to new business opportunities and funding sources, and public policy guidance and information.

Fleets that are further along on their zero-emission journey, meeting or exceeding a minimum of 10% ZEVs, will receive a comprehensive marketing kit and can choose to be included on the ZEV Fleets for Hire List, as well as the other program benefits.

For California-based fleets, the cost to participate in the program is covered by the California Air Resources Board’s (CARB) Hybrid and Zero-Emission Truck and Bus Voucher Incentive Project (HVIP).
